Superscript launches e-bike rider insurance

The launch of this new insurance offering for e-bike couriers and delivery riders embodies our commitment, as an award winning digital insurance broker, to provide cover for every type of business.

Estimates on the size of the gig economy vary from anywhere between 500,000 to 4.7m workers in the UK, with 24 per cent of those working in London and many taking to e-bikes for eco-friendly delivery work. While this economy continues to grow, adequate insurance solutions have so far struggled to keep pace.

The cover, which is designed to protect e-bike riders, includes third-party liability and personal accident insurance. Delivered in partnership with Sundays, the global leader in bicycle insurance, the cover is a first-of-its-kind as it will be sold to riders under individual policies.

With this new offering, e-bike couriers and delivery riders across Britain will now be able to benefit from our smart, digital insurance which provides peace of mind when they’re on the job.

Cover designed for the gig economy
